Dateline - With over 3,000 episodes and 35 seasons, Dateline is the classic murder mystery show with each episode covering a different murder or attempted murder. Keith Morrison is a gem.
Unsolved Mysteries - This show started in 1987 and was recently reintroduced by Netflix. While some of the episodes focus on categories outside of murder, the show does have a lot of unsolved murders covered.
Hercule Poirot Books by Agatha Christie - This series has 33 novels and 51 short stories, so it's an excellent collection to bring along to the deserted island. Some of the most famous books include Murder on the Orient Express and Death on the Nile.

Justin picked Only Murders in the Building starring Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short. With multiple seasons, the show blends humor with a whodunnit. His backup was the Benoit Blanc movie series - Knives Out, Glass Onion, and Wake Up Dead Man.
Alex cheated a bit and offered up a double feature. Shane Black directed both movies, but nothing else ties them together. He chose Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and The Nice Guys.
