The guys dive into candy this week. It's trick-or-treating time of the year, so everyone comes to the table with their top three candy options for the deserted island.

Mitch Picks
  1. Twizzlers - Always his movie theater candy because he loves the individual strips. He does not want the pull-and-peel.

  2. Watermelon Sour Patch Kids - This flavor has the right sweet-and-sour balance.

  3. Dots - While this might be his most controversial pick, he's standing ten toes down on it. They might stick to your teeth, but they're worth the battle.

Justin Picks
  1. Reese's Pieces - He loves the piece-by-piece candy. The E.T. factor might have made him love them even more. He loves all versions of Reese's, but the pieces are perfectly portioned.

  2. Snickers - This gives you nuts, caramel, and chocolate. Their advertising is spot on, and it's a go-to at the gas station. It's an excellent snack.

  3. Starburst - Justin's preferred order was eating the yellow and orange flavors first, then finishing with red and pink. Plus, the papers will be a good firestarter on the island.

Alex Picks
  1. Peanut Butter M&M's - Alex prefers these WAY over Reese's Pieces. He likes them in the freezer.

  2. Take5 - Pretzels, caramel, peanut butter, chocolate, and peanuts all in one candy. Alex called it the "perfect candy."

  3. Twizzler Nibs - Cherry-flavored bite-sized licorice pieces in a bag. Alex loves licorice so much, even black licorice. But these are his absolute favorite kinds.

Listener Picks & Island Winner

The Take5 helped Alex beat the other hosts.

Listener submissions: Rice Krispie treats, watermelon Sour Patch Kids, peanut M&M's, Swedish candy bubs, toffee dark chocolate, Sour Patch Kids, Snickers, Nerd Clusters, Sour Worms, 100 Grand, Reese's Pieces, Peach Rings, Runts (especially banana flavored), Pretzel M&M's for the sodium, Laffy Taffy for the jokes, Reese's, Sour Patch, and Tootsie Pops

Fact checking:

  • JK Simmons' salary for playing the Yellow M&M for the last few decades has not been disclosed. Billy West voices the Red M&M, not the Red Power Ranger.

  • The official ingredients of a Tootsie Roll are sugar, corn syrup, palm oil, condensed skim milk, cocoa, whey, soy lecithin, and artificial and natural flavors. It's a chocolate taffy.

  • The producer mistyped Rachel's candy submission. It's not "bons," it's "bubs" - you can get a 1 pound mixed bag here and we HIGHLY recommend trying it.
